Supreme sells most of its clothing in weekly online drops during two seasons a year, and each drop sells out in minutes. The rules have changed over the years, most recently the drop time, so a lot of what is written online is out of date. This guide covers how a Supreme week works right now, what time the drop happens where you are, and how to give yourself the best chance of getting an item at retail.
The Supreme calendar
Supreme runs a Spring/Summer season starting around February and a Fall/Winter season starting around August. During a season there is a drop every Thursday, with a short break between seasons and around holidays. The season's full collection is previewed at the start, and each week a selection of items from it is released. Every week Droplist publishes the full droplist for that Thursday, item by item, with prices in pounds, euros and dollars, on the Supreme page and in the app.
When the online drop happens
Supreme's online drop for the UK, Europe and the US now happens at the same moment worldwide: Thursday at 11am New York time. In the UK that is 4pm, and in central Europe it is 5pm. Japan drops separately on Saturday at 11am Tokyo time. The Droplist app shows the drop time in your own timezone and sends a notification when the drop goes live, so you do not need to convert anything or set an alarm.
Where to buy
Online, Supreme sells through its own site, which routes you to the shop for your region. The UK shop is at uk.supreme.com, and other regions have their own versions. You need an account with your address and payment details saved before Thursday. Supreme's own stores also receive the week's drop on Thursday, and busy releases may use a registration or ticket system, so check the store's own announcements before travelling.
How the drop works
At drop time the week's items appear in the shop. Stock is first come first served and most items are gone within a few minutes, with the most hyped pieces selling out in under a minute. Supreme limits you to one of each style per customer, so you cannot buy the same item in two colours in one order, and duplicate orders are cancelled. Checkout needs to be fast: have your account logged in, your card saved, and know exactly which item, colour and size you want before 4pm.
Preparing for a Thursday
- Read the droplist early in the week. Supreme previews the week's items a few days ahead and Droplist posts the full list with prices, so you can decide what you actually want.
- Rank your wants. You will realistically get one or two items. Go for the one you care about first, then try for the rest if it is still there.
- Be logged in a few minutes before, with the shop already open. Do not wait for the app notification to start.
- Use one device and one account. Multiple orders for the same style are cancelled.
- Know the sizing. Supreme box logo hoodies, jackets and tees fit differently and there are no exchanges on sold-out items.
What sells out and what does not
Box logo items, collaborations with brands like Nike, The North Face and Stone Island, and accessories with a cult following go first. Plenty of the week's list, including basic tees, caps, shorts and many jackets, stays in stock for hours or days and sometimes until the end of the season. If you want something that is not the hyped piece of the week, there is often no need to fight for it at 4pm.
Resale
Because the hyped items sell out instantly, Supreme has one of the biggest resale markets in streetwear. Box logos and major collaborations can trade at several times retail, while most other items settle close to or below retail once the week passes. Common questions
Can I order from the US site if the UK sells out? Supreme's regional shops ship to their own regions, so a UK customer buys from the UK shop. The drop happens at the same time in each region now, so there is no later second chance in another region.
Are there raffles for Supreme? Online, no. The drop is first come first served. Some Supreme stores use registration for in-store queues on very busy weeks.
Do items restock? Occasionally, from cancelled orders, and without notice. Some items are also re-released in later weeks of the season. Droplist notes restocks and re-releases in the weekly list.
