These terms apply to the Droplist app on iOS and Android and to the website drop-list.com (together, "the Service"). The Service is provided by Droplist LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12806969) with its registered office at 118 High Street, Staple Hill, Bristol, BS16 5HH ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the Service you agree to these terms, so please read them before you start.
The licence you get
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy or modify the app or any part of it, attempt to extract its source code, translate it, or make derivative versions. The app, its trade marks, copyright, database rights and all other intellectual property remain the property of Droplist LTD. We may change the app, or charge for parts of it, at any time. We will always make clear what you are paying for before you pay.
What Droplist is, and is not
Droplist does not sell products. We collect release dates, prices, style codes, raffle details and retailer links for sneakers and streetwear and present them in one place. We rely on retailers and other third parties for this information. Although we work to keep it accurate and current, details can change without notice and we accept no liability for loss you suffer by relying on it. Always check the retailer's own page before buying or entering a raffle.
Purchases, shipping, returns, faulty items and stock are entirely between you and the retailer. Raffles are run by the retailer concerned, not by us. Entering one creates a relationship between you and that retailer, and we cannot influence its outcome. Any problem with a retailer's service should be raised with that retailer.
Affiliate links and advertising
Many links in the app and on the website are affiliate links, including links to retailers through networks such as Awin and Skimlinks, and links to the StockX marketplace through Impact. If you buy through one of these links we may receive a commission from the retailer. It does not change the price you pay. The free version of the app also shows adverts. Adverts and the sites they lead to are the responsibility of the advertiser.
Accounts
You do not need an account to use Droplist. An account unlocks extra features such as following products, recording the raffles you have entered and using Droplist+ across your devices. You can create one with an email address or with Sign in with Apple. Against your account we store your email address (or the private relay address Apple provides), the products you follow, the raffles you record, your subscription status and any giveaway entries. We do not ask for or store your name, postal address or phone number.
You are responsible for keeping your device and your account secure. We recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, as this can expose it to malware and may stop the app working properly.
You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app using Delete Account, or by emailing george@drop-list.com from the address on the account. Deleting the account removes the data listed above from our systems.
Droplist+ subscription
Droplist+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes adverts and unlocks the additional features described in the app. The options, prices and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Payment is taken by Apple or Google through your App Store or Google Play account. We never see your card details. To cancel, use your device's subscription settings (on iOS: Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android: the Play Store app, Payments and subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Droplist+ until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active. It receives an anonymous app identifier and the purchase receipt, and we store your subscription status against your account so that Droplist+ works on all your devices.
Sneaker scanner
The sneaker scanner is a Droplist+ feature. You take a photo of a sneaker and we use it to identify the product and return its details, prices and retailers. The photo is uploaded to our secure storage only for as long as the search takes, is used for nothing else, and is then deleted. Please photograph products, not people.
Giveaways
From time to time we run giveaways in the app. No purchase is necessary to enter. Entrants must be 18 or over and located in a country where the prize can be delivered. Winners are chosen at random from valid entries after the closing date shown in the app and are contacted using the email address on their account. If a winner does not respond within 14 days we may choose another. Prizes have no cash alternative. We may exclude entries made with multiple accounts or by automated means. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, or involved in, any giveaway.
Notifications, Live Activities and widgets
With your permission the app sends push notifications about drops, raffles and restocks for products you follow, and can show a Live Activity on your lock screen around a release. You can switch these off at any time in your device's notification settings. The home screen widget only reads data already on your device.
Connectivity and charges
Some features need an active internet connection. We are not responsible for the app not working fully when you have no Wi-Fi or data allowance. Your agreement with your mobile network still applies while you use the app, including any data or roaming charges, and you accept responsibility for those. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume you have the bill payer's permission to use the app.
Updates and ending the Service
The app is available on iOS and Android. System requirements may change and you will need to install updates to keep using it. We do not promise that the app will always work with the version of iOS or Android you have. We may stop providing the app at any time. If we do, or if we end your access for breaking these terms, the licence above ends and you must stop using the app and delete it from your device.
Website
drop-list.com shows the same release information and retailer links as the app and is provided without any guarantee that it is complete or current. The contact form on the website is provided by Squarespace.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, so please check back periodically. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
