Originally a limited edition launch in 2014, this Kobe 9 Low returns in Protro form and honors the deep passion for basketball throughout the Philippines. Taking inspiration from the banig, the traditional Filipino craft of weaving that brings communites together, a distinct print wraps the engineered mesh upper. Numerology references are layered over the design in a hand-painted style commonly seen in barangay gyms. Contained within the translucent outsole is a graphic of a tsinelas, or flip-flop, recognizing a familiar sight of hoopers throughout the Philippines.
