Founded in 2017, the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation (CSEF) proved that sponsorship isn’t the only lane in skateboarding. Offering scholarships for skateboarders pursuing higher learning, CSEF has continued to grow its reach and imprint in skating and education—raising $90,000 in scholarship funds in 2024 alone. Helping skateboarders further their education regardless of their financial situation or circumstances, CSEF has been pivotal in not only helping members of the skate community reach their goals but also in reshaping the tropes and stereotypes of skateboarding itself.
